Dr. LeRoy McKenzie III is the visionary and Senior Pastor of Faith Assembly Christian Center in Durham, North Carolina. He is married to Pastor Mary McKenzie. They have three beautiful children: Reeshemah, Rico, and Mario, and five wonderful grandchildren: Javon, Jordan, Ta Niya, Ja Torri and Ja Khai.
The Vision of Faith Assembly Christian Center is Changing A Generation, One Person At A Time, which is carried out through the 4 E s. The 4 E s are: Education, Empowerment, Evangelism, and Entrepreneurship. Lives are being changed and souls are being set free and delivered. Bishop McKenzie has birthed eight churches throughout the southeastern United States. He also provides leadership training for church leaders and business professionals using divine principles at the Annual Leadership and Church Development Conference.
Dr. McKenzie holds a number of degrees and honors, which exemplify his true leadership in the Body of Christ. He is a soldier in the army of the Lord who loves to see God's people prosper. Dr. McKenzie is a man after God's own heart who walks by faith and not by sight.
He has recently joined the Chaplain at Polk Correctional Institution in restoring the lives of the youth. He teaches a class at Polk twice each month helping to revitalize the lives of boys ages 16 through 19 years of age. Last but not least Dr. McKenzie is the author of six inspiring books: Pastor I Need Answers, Godly Principles For Divine Leadership, Destiny With A Purpose, Living Under An Open Heaven, What To Do In The Time Of A Crisis, and The 21st Century Family. Dr. McKenzie's newest project is training millionaires to be successful entrepreneurs.
Pastor Lois McKenzie is the wife of Bishop Leroy McKenzie III, founder of Faith Assembly Christian Center in Durham, NC. They have been married for 33 years. Pastor McKenzie is the mother of three wonderful children, Reeshemah, Ricardo, and Mario. She also has four grandchildren, Javon, Jordan, Ta Niya, and Ja Torri. Pastor McKenzie worked in nursing for seven years upon completing her nursing degree in 1975. She was licensed as an insurance agent and worked as the Executive Assistant to her husband for fifteen years in Pri-America Financial Services. Pastor McKenzie later opened up an in-home daycare for five years. Pastor McKenzie was ordained as a minister of the gospel in July 1995. Eight years later she was promoted to Pastor of FACC. She is a servant at heart and has exemplified her service through various ministries of FACC and the community. She currently serves as a board member for the New Horizons School, a school for at risk youth in Durham Public Schools. She also conducts weekly Bible studies at the Morreene Road Community Center to help strengthen the family. Her greatest joy is to see people saved, delivered, and set free from bondages. Pastor McKenzie's desire is to worship the Father, increase in faith, and produce fruit for the Kingdom of God.
God has birthed a powerful women's ministry through Pastor McKenzie. She travels throughout the eastern United States ministering to women, who are hurting, broken and abused. Pastor McKenzie is the author of three books: Words of Worship, Clean Heart Right Spirit, and Prayer Changed My Life. She hosts God's Complete Woman Women's Conference annually that ministers to the needs of women through workshops, dance, song, the Word and a pageant. She is also of the founder of Women's Talk, a monthly meeting for women in the community. Women learn how to live as a woman, to balance their households, to have a career, and be all that God has called them to be.
